Floris Bouwen, better known as Farmer Floor, simply wanted to work smarter. Less time spent cleaning, less paper, and above all: cleaner udders.
The cloths wipe away bacteria, but do not remove them completely. The residual material – containers full of paper – is also a detrimental side effect.
Floor believed there had to be a better way: A deeper cleaning without touching the teat and without residual material.
In collaboration with Arnie van Staveren, he therefore developed the DairyJet, the new standard in udder hygiene.
With this cleaning jet, 75% of mastitis cases and thus losses in milk production due to waiting times can be prevented.
Mastitis: A Major Challenge for Dairy Farmers
Mastitis is the most common condition on dairy farms and jeopardizes both animal health and profitability. According to studies, a large majority of mastitis cases are caused by (coliform) environmental bacteria. These infections lead to significant animal suffering and high costs. Good udder health is essential for a profitable and sustainable dairy farm. DairyJet assists by thoroughly and contactlessly cleaning teats, drastically reducing the risk of bacterial infections. This keeps your cows healthier and your milk production optimal — without extra work.

DairyJet™: Directly Visible Results in the Tank
The use of the DairyJet is directly reflected in the tank by the number of coliform bacteria – which are crucial indicators for milk quality.
Especially for cheese production, the germ level is of essential importance. In our trial period, we reduced the number of coliform bacteria from the standard of 50 to 20 germs within 3 weeks*. This directly leads to an improvement in milk quality and provides an advantage regarding upcoming standards and regulations. *Further reduction of germs is possible, but this depends on stable hygiene.

Tested and Convinced
On our own farm, we have extensively tested the DairyJet and are convinced of the results. The costs are negligible compared to the benefits we observed: less mastitis, healthier cows, and a more efficient working method. 👉 When to replace? Replace the DairyJet after approximately 5,000 uses. Example calculation: Do you use the DairyJet for 20 cows, 3 times a day? Then replace every 3 months.
